Mission & Vision
In-house lawyers operate under conditions that private practice rarely faces. They sit alone inside businesses, absorbing legal, regulatory, and commercial risk without a natural peer group. The work is high-stakes and often invisible. The decisions are consequential. The sounding boards are few.
Counselyn was founded in Cyprus to address that directly.
The founding logic is simple: senior in-house counsel - lawyers who own governance, manage boards, navigate regulators, and hold institutional risk - need a private forum of their own. Not a bar association. Not a conference circuit. Not another LinkedIn group. A small, selective, invitation-only club where the conversation is real and the participants are qualified to have it.
Counselyn launched in 2026 with a founding cohort drawn from Cyprus's core sectors - corporate and commercial, fintech, shipping, hospitality, technology, funds, energy, real estate, and regulated entities. Charter Members joined on the understanding that what they are building has value precisely because it will remain discreet, curated, and useful.
The operating principle is this: create the trusted information environment in which in-house lawyers do their best thinking. The events, the peer exchange, the resources, and the intelligence that flow through Counselyn exist in service of that single purpose.
