The Membership
01
Who We Accept
Lawyers currently sitting inside a business, owning legal risk, governance, compliance, transactions, or board-facing responsibility. Minimum 10 years PQE.
02
Sectors Represented
Banking, shipping, tourism and hospitality, ICT, fintech, construction and real estate, automotive, media, and trading.
03
How Members Join
By invitation or peer recommendation. There is no open application. If you are considering membership, register your interest via the contact page. Admission decisions rest with the Founders.
04
What It Costs
Annual membership is EUR 290 plus VAT. The membership fee is subject to review every two years. Members will be given no less than 60 days' written notice of any increase.
05
Charter Membership
A founding cohort of 12 senior counsel. The people who shape what Counselyn becomes.
06
Built to Grow
Counselyn launches small and deliberately. The founding cohort sets the standard. As that standard holds, membership expands - without compromising the quality or discretion that defines it.
02
What Membership Gives You
01
Your Peer Group
Direct access to senior in-house counsel across Cyprus's key sectors. A circle that understands the work because they do the same work. A network that compounds in value as Counselyn grows.
02
Private Events
Invitation-only dinners, roundtables, webinars, workshops, and retreats. Designed for candor, not performance. Expanding in scope as the membership does.
03
The Members Channel
A closed WhatsApp group for real-time peer exchange. Relevant, low noise, high signal.
04
Operational Intelligence
Regulatory patterns, regulator behaviour, external counsel benchmarking, vendor reliability, board management approaches. Practical, not academic.
05
Career & Market Visibility
Curated senior legal opportunities circulated exclusively to members. No recruiters. No spam.
06
Member Badge
Members receive a digital Counselyn badge for use in email signatures and professional profiles, identifying them as part of an invitation-only circle of senior in-house counsel in Cyprus.
03
Upon Acceptance
Members who accept an invitation to join Counselyn will receive a Member Briefing setting out in full how the club operates, what is expected of members, and what members can expect in return.

The Briefing covers the club's communication channels, private events programme, working groups, membership fee structure, and the rules that govern participation and membership standing. It also sets out the action steps required to complete onboarding - including joining the members channel, submitting a brief professional profile for introduction to fellow members, indicating working group interest, and confirming consent to the processing of personal data in accordance with Counselyn's Privacy Policy.

The Briefing is confidential, intended for members only, and forms the basis of the membership relationship. It is not a contract. It is a practical guide to getting the most out of Counselyn from day one.
